LOLER or Thorough Examination

A legal requirement for all passenger and goods lifts.

A LOLER inspection is a thorough examination that must be carried out by a competent person. Its purpose is to ensure that the equipment is in a safe state to be used and operated.

Passenger lifts require an inspection every 6 months and goods lifts require only 1 inspection per year, or if any substantial changes or works have been carried out to the lift.

Upon completion of the through examination you will receive a certificate to prove your lift conformity
